Two weeks since the sitemap discovery. Today we read the GSC scoreboard, audit what shipped on the local upgrade pass, then pivot to the content engine: YouTube + GHL repurposing + the case-study-as-video pipeline.

01

Read the scoreboard

Did the www sitemap submission and the local upgrade pass move the needle? Compare GSC impressions / clicks / avg position vs the May 12 baseline. Same for Bing Webmaster Tools. Annotation should make the rebound (or the lack of it) unmistakable.

Close the May 12 register

Walk every line item from the Session 03 action register. Anything not shipped, find out why — descoped, blocked on capacity, blocked on prompts, or just slipped. Disavow file is the only one we agreed to defer.

Pivot to the content engine

Weeks 5-6 outcome: YouTube + GHL repurposing pipeline. Today we lock the cadence (4/month batched), the thumbnail/title separation rule, the GHL → TikTok/Reels wiring, and the first case-study-as-video re-cut.

Open Performance → Search results → 14 days. Filter by page = /digital-marketing/*. Expect impressions to be non-zero on at least 3 of the targeted suburbs if indexing landed. Clicks may still be near zero — too early for transactional position, but discovery is the leading signal.

URL Inspection on Mill Park + Epping + one untouched control. "Submitted and indexed" is the green light. "Crawled - not indexed" means the upgrade pass wasn't enough yet — content quality bar still too thin.

Reference pattern from Nico's fuel-price site: Bing AI Performance shows citations across ChatGPT / Copilot / Perplexity that GSC never surfaces. PMGS is likely already getting some — pull the report and screenshot.

Pivot: content engine.

The cadence

4 YouTube videos / month, batched in one half-day. Topic candidates from existing case studies + the 4 industry hubs. Editor (Sri Lanka FT) cuts the long-form. Don't chase view count — chase consistency. Volume teaches more than analysis.

The repurpose

Long-form 5-min video → CapCut Pro or GHL repurposing → TikTok + Instagram Reels + LinkedIn vertical. The GHL repurposing module is already paid for. Confirm the wiring with the editor; first repurpose batch should run end-of-week.

The case-study-as-video

Each industry hub already embeds a YouTube case-study. Re-cut one as the new template: hook in first 10s, no intro, $X / lead overlay on thumbnail, pinned CTA comment, CTA link in description above the fold. This becomes the spec for the next 3.

    If suburb URLs still aren't indexed → URL Inspection live, check Rich Results Test, look for blocking patterns. If hubs aren't moving → is it backlink quality (PBN residue), or is the content depth still too generic vs Shout / Clearwater?
